I was a conductor and composer. 182 years ago – in the year 1842 – I founded the world-famous “Vienna Philharmonic” orchestra together with my colleagues Alfred Becher and August Schmidt.

Take a look in the big display cabinet and you´ll find a black and white photo of the orchestra musicians – it’s 160 years old!
